One of its main components is folic acid, a nutrient needed by pregnant women as the suplemental intake of folic acid increases maternal folate status and contributes to reduce tiredness and fatigue. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus.
The intage od 200 mg of DHA contributes to the normal development of brain and eye of the foetus and breastfed infants.
